Lincoln, NE – The Nebraska Section PGA has announced Paul Swirzinski, PGA of Elmwood Park Golf Course as their Wilson Sporting Goods Monthly Game Ball recipient for May.

The mission statement of Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is to ignite the true potential in every athlete, and no one does it better than PGA Professionals when it comes to growing the game of golf. That mission is being lived out by Swirzinski on a daily basis through his teaching and involvement with PGA REACH Nebraska’s programming.

Swirzinski is making a true difference in Omaha communities through the game of golf. For the past eight years, he has stepped up to the plate to play a vital role in the foundation’s programming. His journey began by teaching within local elementary schools through PGA REACH Nebraska’s Golf ‘N Schools program. In addition, Swirzinski has been a lead instructor for both PGA REACH Nebraska’s Omaha Outreach program and their PGA HOPE program.

Between all three programs, Swirzinski has made a positive difference on youth, veterans and people of diverse populations. Paul‘s passion for teaching and coaching is evident and his love for the game has impacted thousands of lives in the greater Omaha Community!

“Working with the PGA Reach Nebraska programs has been so rewarding. Our section has so many great professionals and it truly is an honor to be recognized by my peers”, said Swirzinski.

Nominations for the next Wilson Sporting Goods Monthly Game Ball will open tomorrow, June 1st and will close at 11:59 PM on the 15th.

The Nebraska Section PGA is a non-for-profit organization comprised of over 300 PGA Members and PGA Associates who strive to promote the enjoyment and growth of the game of golf.  The Nebraska Section PGA encompasses the entire State of Nebraska, western fifth of Iowa and a small portion of South Dakota including Dakota Dunes and Yankton.  The Section office is located in Lincoln, NE and acts as a resource for local and national golf information for the golf professional and amateur player alike.  Our members are often referred to as “Club Professionals”, not to be mistaken as PGA Tour Professionals.
