Inclusion is a core value of PGA REACH Nebraska, and we are committed to making sure that people of all backgrounds have access to and feel authentically welcome in the game and business of golf.

Clubs FORE  Youth

Clubs FORE Youth is an initiative founded by the Southern California Section PGA to provide high school-aged girls (14-18) with the necessary golf equipment and resources needed to compete and experience the game’s most important characteristics. Through the game of golf, each female scholar-athlete will be exposed to a unique skill set that will broaden their career options in the future. In addition to acquiring important life and social skills, these female scholar-athletes will build self-esteem through daily interactions with their High School Coaches and teammates and empower them to be the leaders of tomorrow.

PGA REACH Nebraska’s Objective:

To fully equip ALL High School Girls Golf Programs needing resources and equipment assistance. As our research has shown, Nebraska High Schools Girls Golf programs aren’t afforded the proper resources, equipment, or training to succeed at a high level. The majority of High School Girls’ golf programs use substandard equipment or do not have equipment. PGA REACH Nebraska is committed to bridging this gap and providing these female scholar-athletes with a level playing field.

PGA WORKS

PGA WORKS is a strategic initiative, designed to diversify the golf industry’s workforce. Funded by PGA REACH, the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America, PGA WORKS leverages fellowships, scholarships, career exploration events, and the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship to inspire and engage talent from diverse backgrounds to pursue key employment positions across the golf industry.

The PGA WORKS Fellowship is a program that offers access to individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds—whether by gender, age, race or color, national origin or ancestry, sexual orientation, disability, religion or Veteran status—into the golf industry to gain experience in all facets of the golf industry.

MEET AMBER BOGLE

Amber Bogle is Nebraska PGA’s first PGA WORKS Fellow. The PGA WORKS Fellowship program offers individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to gain experience in the golf industry. Amber is a 12-year military veteran who participated in the PGA HOPE program in 2023, and golf quickly became her favorite sport.  “I’m so excited to join the Nebraska PGA team. I want to help positively impact as many people’s lives as I can through the game of golf,” says Bogle. “Nebraska PGA Professionals have made such a positive impact on my life, and I want to do the same for others as a PGA Professional someday.” Amber has already begun working towards pursuing that dream of becoming a PGA Professional. In February, Amber enrolled in the PGA of America’s Affiliate program. She has quickly passed the qualifying level and is currently working on Level 1.

In her free time, Amber attends her daughter’s youth sports events, is a group fitness instructor, volunteers in her community, and enjoys spending as much time on the golf course as possible.
