The Nebraska Section of the PGA is one of 41 Sections that together comprise the PGA of America.
The Nebraska Section PGA is a non-for-profit organization comprised of approximately 273 PGA Members and 64 Associates who strive to promote the enjoyment and growth of the game of golf. The Nebraska Section PGA encompasses the entire State of Nebraska, western fifth of Iowa and a small portion of South Dakota including Dakota Dunes and Yankton. The Section office is located in Lincoln, NE and acts as a resource for local and national golf information for the golf professional and amateur player alike. Our members are often referred to as “Club Professionals”, not to be mistaken as PGA Tour Professionals.
Each Nebraska Section PGA Professional serves as an expert in the ever-changing business of golf. They are the leading expert players and teachers, skilled business managers, community leaders, and superior merchandisers who have dedicated their careers to the local delivery of these services.
The mission of the Nebraska Section PGA is to promote the enjoyment of and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals and the golf industry.
The Nebraska Section PGA will accomplish this mission by enhancing the skills of its professionals and the opportunities for amateurs, employers, manufacturers, employees and the general public.
In so doing, the Nebraska Section PGA will elevate the standards of the professional golfer’s vocation, enhance the economic well- being of the individual member, stimulate interest in the game of golf, and promote the overall vitality of the game.
The Nebraska PGA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to positively impact lives through the game of golf.
The PGA REACH Nebraska Foundation was created for the purpose of administering the charitable and philanthropic affairs on behalf of the golf professionals within the Nebraska Section PGA.
These affairs include, but are not limited to, promotion and growth of junior golf, scholarship programs, programs for underprivileged youth and contributions to allied charitable organizations.

Since its founding in 1916, The PGA of America has enhanced its leadership position in the game of golf through its world-class education and training programs, significant philanthropic outreach initiatives and premier spectator events, including the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, PGA Championship and Ryder Cup.
