FRISCO, TX – As Greg Neujahr, PGA finished his term on the PGA of America Board of Directors, Dawn Neujahr, PGA was elected as an at-large Board Member at PGA Frisco during the 107th PGA Annual Meeting.

Greg and Dawn have been described by many as the ‘PGA Power Couple’. The two PGA Professionals have continued their long tenure at Champions Run Omaha with Greg being the Director of Golf and Dawn leading their merchandising. In their time as PGA Professionals, they’ve both served in PGA governance locally and nationally.

Representing the Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota PGA Sections, Greg Neujahr was elected as the District 8 Director at the 104th PGA Annual Meeting three years ago. In addition to serving on the national board, Greg has been majorly involved at the Section level having served as President, Vice-President, and Secretary from 2008-2013.

“It was truly an honor and one of the top highlights of my career”, said Greg Neujahr regarding his three years as District 8 Director. “To be able to be involved with our new home in PGA Frisco, hiring our new COO, and now the new rebranding campaign, it has been so rewarding.”

Just like Greg, Dawn is serving as the current President for the Nebraska Section PGA following stints as the Vice-President and Secretary. In addition, both Dawn & Greg served on various committees at the local level including junior golf, membership, and employment.

After becoming the first female Nebraska Section President, Dawn now becomes the first PGA LEAD graduate to be elected to the PGA Association’s National Board of Directors. She’s also just third-ever at-large board member in PGA of America’s history.

“It is an incredible honor to be selected to represent the 29,000 PGA Professionals in our Association”, Dawn Neujahr said as she reflected on her new role as an at-large board member.

Dawn added, “I’ve always had the desire to give back to our Association, which has provided me with a career I love. I look forward to continuing to make an impact for my fellow PGA of America Golf Professionals as we continue to make this amazing game, and industry, even better.”

Throughout the time the two have given back to the PGA both locally and nationally, the Neujahr’s have been there for one another.

“It was pretty surreal to have the timing for this (Dawn’s election) to happen as I was transitioning off of the national board”, said Greg. “We high-fived as he walked off the stage and I walked on. It’s great to know I have him for support over the next three years”, said Dawn as she reflected on a moment, they both will cherish forever.

The time, energy, and dedication both Greg and Dawn Neujahr have given to the PGA Association is truly remarkable. The Nebraska PGA family is grateful for their commitments to the game and our industry.
