LAS VEGAS, NV – The Nebraska PGA concluded its 36th Annual Nebraska PGA Vegas Classic, presented by Callaway Golf, Vinnie Krikac’s State Farm Insurance Agency and Harris Golf Cars, February 23-25 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over three days, the field competed across three outstanding venues, highlighted by longtime host DragonRidge Country Club and new 2026 hosts South Shore Country Club and Las Vegas Country Club.

The tournament ultimately came down to a final-round showdown at Las Vegas Country Club, where defending champion Brady Schnell of Firethorn Golf Club delivered when it mattered most. Schnell made five birdies in the closing round to collect 41 points, finishing with a three-round total of 133 points after earlier rounds of 44 and 48. His steady play and timely scoring surge secured back-to-back Nebraska PGA Vegas Classic Professional division titles, adding another chapter to an already impressive run in the event.

Justin Herron, PGA of Oak Hills Country Club set the tone early in the championship and carried momentum throughout the week. In Monday’s opening round at DragonRidge Country Club, Herron carded a 6-under 66 that included nine birdies, good for 51 points and the early Professional division lead. He continued his strong play on Tuesday at South Shore Country Club, maintaining his position atop the leaderboard heading into the final round. Despite his impressive start, Schnell’s final-day push proved decisive in the race for the title.

The team division also came down to a strong collective finish. Representing The Fairways at Lincoln, the team of Matt Eilrich, Brock Peters, Jim Porter, Matt Olsen and Brad Neumer compiled 341 total points over the three rounds to win. After making key moves during the second round at South Shore CC to take the lead into Wednesday, the group closed the door with a consistent final-round performance at Las Vegas Country Club to secure the victory.

The Nebraska PGA extends its sincere appreciation to DragonRidge Country Club for its continued support as a longtime host of the Vegas Classic. The Section also thanks South Shore Country Club and Las Vegas Country Club for serving as wonderful new hosts in 2026, providing exceptional conditions and memorable settings for this year’s championship.

None of this would be possible without the incredible support from our three presenting sponsors Callaway Golf, Vinnie Krikac’s State Farm Insurance Agency and Harris Golf Cars. Thank you to all three of our tremendous partners for being a part of another great event.

With dramatic finishes in both divisions and another successful trip to Las Vegas complete, the 36th Annual Nebraska PGA Vegas Classic once again delivered a fitting showcase for Nebraska PGA professionals and their teams.
