Homer, NE – Landmand Golf Club provided a spectacular backdrop for the 2026 Harris Golf Cars Pro-Am on Monday, July 13, as Nebraska PGA Professionals and amateurs gathered for one of the Section’s premier Pro-Am events.
Thirty-six teams, each consisting of one PGA Professional and three amateurs, competed in a 2-Net Best Ball team competition, while the 36 PGA Professionals also battled in a separate individual stroke play event.
In the Professional Championship, Jon Moore of Champions Run and PGA Life Member Chris Wiemers shared Low Professional honors after each fired a 3-under-par round. Defending champion Mark Foelbaek of Country Club of Lincoln finished just one stroke back at 2-under-par, claiming solo third place.
The team competition featured plenty of low scores, but it was the foursome of Scott Holly, Ernie Johnson, Kirt Nolde, and Dave Cabela that emerged victorious. Their impressive 18-under-par performance secured the team title in the 2-Net Best Ball format.
Players were greeted with hot Nebraska summer temperatures, but otherwise enjoyed excellent weather conditions throughout the day. Combined with Landmand Golf Club’s nationally acclaimed layout, the event delivered an outstanding experience for both Professionals and amateurs alike.
The Nebraska PGA extends its sincere appreciation to Harris Golf Cars for serving as the event’s title sponsor. Additional thanks go to supporting sponsors Oakley, Bushnell Golf, Chesterman Co. Coca-Cola, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka for their continued support of Nebraska PGA events.
Congratulations to all of the champions and thank you to Landmand Golf Club, our sponsors, PGA Professionals, amateurs, and staff for making the 2026 Harris Golf Cars Pro-Am another memorable success.
