Lincoln, NE – The Nebraska PGA is excited to introduce a new set of annual awards recognizing PGA Jr. League programs across the Section, designed to celebrate the outstanding efforts of our PGA Professionals who are growing the game and making a meaningful impact in their communities.

These awards aim to highlight facilities that demonstrate excellence in participation, growth, and player engagement within PGA Jr. League. Beginning in 2026, we will recognize the following:

2026 Opening Drive Award
Presented to a new PGA Jr. League facility that makes an immediate impact by welcoming the highest number of registered players in its first season. This award celebrates programs that set the tone for growth, energy, and excitement right from the start.

2026 On the Rise Award
Awarded to the facility with the highest year-over-year increase in PGA Jr. League registrations. This recognizes programs that show meaningful growth, strong leadership, and a continued commitment to expanding the game.

2026 Largest Program in the Section (#GameChanger Award)
This will highlight the largest PGA Jr. League program in the Nebraska Section. While this program already receives national recognition through the GameChanger Award, it will also be recognized alongside our Section award winners at the Spring Meeting.

Our goal with these awards is to evaluate and celebrate the Nebraska PGA Professionals who are actively participating in PGA Jr. League and striving to further enhance the game through their efforts.
