2026 Nebraska PGA Jr. League Section Championship at The Pinnacle Bank Championship

Elkhorn, NE – For the fifth year in a row, The Club at Indian Creek hosted the PGA Jr. League Nebraska Section Championship, featuring four All-Star teams of junior golfers ages 14–17 in the 17U Division and four All-Star teams of junior golfers ages 10–13 in the 13U Division. The players and their families took part in an incredible opportunity and memorable experience for everyone involved.

Section Qualifiers and Championships are the first of three phases in the PGA Jr. League All-Star Season, highlighting the aspirational nature of competition celebrated in a way unique to PGA Jr. League.

The championship event was a 9-hole scramble stroke play qualifier played on the Red Feather Course. Each All-Star team was divided into two-person scramble pairs, with four pairs on each team. The best three of the four pair scores counted toward the team total.

Due to inclement weather on Saturday, the event was postponed to Sunday, the 9th.

The weekend was about more than just the junior championship, as the event was held in collaboration with the Pinnacle Bank Championship (PBC), a regular stop on the Korn Ferry Tour where professional golfers compete in pursuit of earning their PGA TOUR cards.

Saturday’s activities included a putt-putt course and Nebraska athlete autograph station as part of PBC Youth Day, along with the opportunity for PGA Jr. League players to hit on the driving range alongside professional golfers.

The lowest-scoring team in each division was crowned Section Champion and punched its ticket to the Regional Championship, which will be held October 2–4 at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Missouri.

The team advancing to the Regional Championship in the 17U Division is the Miracle Hill (Green) All-Stars. In the 13U Division, the Eastern Nebraska All-Stars earned the championship and advanced to Regionals. Official results are listed below.

Following recreational play in the spring and summer, hundreds of 13U All-Star teams, made up of boys and girls ages 10–13, and 17U All-Star teams, made up of boys and girls ages 14–17, are formed from a combination of players in each league.

Section Champions from both age divisions advance to the Regional stage of competition at one of 12 sites in the fall.

Ultimately, twelve 13U Regional Champions will compete for the title at the PGA Jr. League Championship at PGA Frisco’s Fields Ranch West, November 11–15, which will be broadcast live on select ESPN networks. The 17U National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship will be held at Twin Warriors Golf Club in New Mexico, October 22–25.

PGA Jr. League is the flagship youth pillar program of the PGA of America’s 501(c)(3) foundation, PGA REACH, with the goal of making the program accessible to all youth regardless of background, circumstance or ability. Boys and girls ages 17 and under learn and play golf on teams, wear numbered jerseys and receive expert coaching from PGA Professionals.
