DiGiacomo Captures HCIS ProAm

Nebraska City, NE. – Mother Nature made an early appearance once again at one of the largest fields of the season at the Heath Care Information Systems (HCIS) Pro-Am at ArborLinks.  As passing storms required a slight delay to start the day, the rain wasn’t going to stop the lead groups from teeing it up.  Ted DiGiacomo, PGA of Golf Galaxy, Omaha, remained calm and used a red-hot putter to post a tournament best round of four-under-par 68.  DiGiacomo made four birdies and one eagle on his round.

Finishing one stroke back at three-under-par 69 were Andrew Storm of Shadow Ridge Country Club and Justin Herron of Pacific Springs Golf Club.  This was another solid performance for Storm coming off his recent back-to-back wins at the National Car Rental Nebraska Assistant PGA Professional Championship and Golf FORE the Troops.  Rounding out the top six with a three-way-tie with a two-under-par 70, are Shane Zywiec, PGA of Highlands Golf Course, Troy Harder, PGA of Wayne Country Club and Ryan Vermeer, PGA of Happy Hollow Club.
